First entry

My life's work has been photography. My vocation has been family. My hobby's are music, singing and guitar playing, coaching basketball, Boy Scouts, and fishing.

My work life has included several years of being a full time photographer for newspapers and a commercial photo studio in Appleton Wisconsin. Most of the time managing and selling for Image Studios. We grew from eight employees in the late 70's to over 60 in the late 90's when we had several retail store chains as clients. With my partners, and many fine employees, we also started Image I.T. a full service pre press business that grew to 70 or so employees. We sold Image I.T. to concentrate on our first love photography. 

Image has been at the for front of digital technology and has always stressed creativity for our clients.

We have had many talented people and continue that tradition today.

I sold my interest in the studio but am lucky to be able to represent them as an account executive  and handle some of my long standing accounts, Kohler and Meredith Publishing.

The  studio is now owned and managed by several talented and hard working photographers and by our President Donna Gehl.

The advertising business is having a touch time now but I have seen many ups and downs. I look forward to a new direction for the ad business. We are working hard to be a part of it's future.
